Making things happen in our Community

Since our founding in 1962 Ardee Credit Union has provided financial support to community and voluntary groups in our local Community. We aim to give recognition and financial support to voluntary organisations that make a valuable contribution to the quality of life within the local community.

This year Ardee Credit Union has once again supported a wide range of organisations. We provided sponsorship and financial support in a variety of sectors such as community and social development, youth activities, the disability and active age sector and sporting organisations.

Another important area of our community involvement is our ongoing support of the Dee Hub a not-for-profit organisation set up to establish a Youth and Community Resource Hub. Operating from the former Credit Union premises on Church Hill, the Dee Hub provides programmes and services to address the needs of all young people, adults and families in the area, particularly those at risk of disadvantage and social exclusion. We are very proud of our association with Dee Hub and hope this partnership will continue to the benefit of all in our local community.
