Job Purpose/Primary Objective
Ardee Credit Union Ltd are recruiting 2 Member Services Teller each for a 9 month full time contract.
The Member Services Teller will be accountable to the CEO for carrying out a range of administrative and operational activities that contribute to the effective running of the Credit Union.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide members of the Credit Union with a courteous, pleasant and professional service.
– Accurately and diligently handle cash; reconcile daily balances and account for any
inconsistencies.
– Assist members with setting up share accounts, current accounts, EFT, Direct Debit and
Standing Order payments.
– Deal with all filing/scanning of correspondence, member documentation etc.
– Provide accurate information regarding products and services to members.
– Maintain up to date knowledge of all policies and procedures of the credit union.
Expected Knowledge & Skills:
– At least two years’ similar experience working in a credit union, front-line financial services
environment, or a cash handling position.
– Have an aptitude for number/numeracy, handling money and balancing cash.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office.
– Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Be well-organised, efficient and work well as part of a team.
