A Form of Nomination is a way of deciding where you want your credit union savings to go when you die. It is like a mini-will. It ensures that your savings can be speedily paid out to your beneficiaries.
Under current legislation the maximum amount that can be nominated is €23,000. Any savings in the account in excess of €23,000 can only be paid out in accordance with the will of the deceased.
Any member can make a nomination provided s/he is over 16 years of age.
